In our range you will find magical Advent calendar ideas to make yourself. For example, this colourful Christmas village.
And because it's best to recreate it with a great template, we've written detailed crafting instructions and made a video tutorial.
To craft you need:
- Scissors
- Bone folder (or alternatively a knife with a blunt back)
- Cutting mat for folding
- Glue stick
- Cord, wool thread or gift ribbon (approx. 40 cm per house)
- Craft template for the houses (from the shop)
- And of course various sweets or other small gifts as filling
Crafting instructions:
- Cut out the house along the outer line.
- Carefully fold the lines inside the house. This is best done with a bone folder. Alternatively, you can use the back of a blunt knife. It is best to test this on a leftover piece of the craft sheet first.
- Now you can fold all the lines. The four diagonal lines must be folded into a valley fold, all the others into a mountain fold.
- Then coat the adhesive surfaces with glue and glue the house in place. Allow to dry thoroughly.
- Now carefully shape the roof of the house.
- Use a needle to drill holes at the mark on the top of the roof.
- Don't forget to fill it and close it with a cord or ribbon.
